The awards ceremony of the best Italian U-21 players (all born between 1995 and 1998) happened on the 24th of November at 7 pm at Football Stadium of Coverciano. "La Giovane Italia" third edition, managed by Paolo Ghisoni (Sky Sport journalist), Stefano Nava and his team, awarded 16 players as every year, according to the evaluations of various managers of young sector: the best goalkeeper, defender, midfielder and striker have been selected for each birth year. Caroli Hotels is partner of the event. Moreover, the best Italian coaches in Giovanissimi Nazionali, Allievi, Berretti and Primavera cathegories have been awarded. The first edition took place in 2002 in Santa Maria di Leuca in partnership with Caroli Hotels and tourist entrepreneur Attilio Caroli Caputo, who launched this project in the wake of the book edited by Ghisoni and Nava. "La Giovane Italia 2014 - The talents of the future" edition has a lot of news and special awards:

- A challenge between a player chosen among the buyers of Giovane Italia Almanac and Daniele Rugani, EA SPORTS of the Year 2014

- "DUE ENERGIE Duferco Group" reward for 2014 to U-17 Female National Team of Enrico Sbardella, that got a bronze medal to 2014 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Costarica (awarded by Attilio Palma, Caroli Hotels - Carnival Tournament of Gallipoli Press Office)

- The award of "Nuovo Calcio" editorial partner to U-19 best Italian young sector in 2013/2014 season (Empoli calcio)

- Finally, the reward for the most "honest" and "ethic" football episodes of 2014 season. That is Feralpi Salò, AlbinoLeffe and Andrea Checcarelli (Real Virtus) who wrote an open letter to the mother on an "unskilled" child.

The ceremony ended with "NISSAN Challenge" that involved all the awarded players. It is also an occasion to present the new edition of "La Giovane Italia 2014-15" Almanac, written by Paolo Ghisoni, Stefano Nava, Fabiola Rieti, Luca Brivio, Ciro Troise, Manuel Monzani and Alessandro Paoli, from this year edited by Nuovo Calcio (Editoriale Sport Italia), in bookstore from the beginning of December.

It was also an occasion to promote the Carnival Tournament next edition and to give an official invitation to the present federal head coaches for the opening ceremony.
