With this letter I have embraced with great pleasure the request to attend ideally the final ceremony of Carnival Tournament of Gallipoli - Santa Maria di Leuca Cup, that will take place next year in Salento.

I would like to express to all the participating young players my personal and institutional support to this sports project, since it is a real and tangible statement of the promotion of highly educational lifestyle through "sports culture".

Sports is a "school of life" for the transmission of positive qualities, such as honesty, team plat and strictness of discipline. Moreover, sport moulds players' character and reconciles the fighting spirit and the need of human relationships based on mutual respect and healthy competitiveness.

So, it is a school that contributes to turn today's  guys into tomorrow's good citizens.

I wish the event and the awarded players every kind of success and I give my best regards to all the participants.
